Last night as I was reading 1 Nephi 2:12, the questions that came to me were "Why did Laman and Lemuel murmur and complain? Why do members of the church complain today about hard doctrines or doing their callings? Why do some become inactive or leave the church? It is because "they knew not the dealings of God." When we really understand God and his plan and the WHYs, than the murmuring/complaining ceases. But to understand takes faith, a lot of faith sometimes, especially when we are in the midst of hard things.
