I know I should not let her start school without correcting her.
But.
I just can't.
Nathan tried the other day to tell her they were called hummingbirds, not honeybirds. She refused to believe him. And she refused to call them anything else.
This is one thing I want to hold onto before she's no longer my baby.

Your baby is starting school next year? That is a hard one to believe! Were'nt you and Tyler just married a couple of years ago?
I agree those are the precious moments in parenting and sometimes it is more valuable to hold on than to correct and let loose. Someday she will call them hummingbirds-so I am with you we have to enjoy those 'babies' as long as we can.
